WE SUPPORT CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL
WHAT WE DO
Education
We pay each and every expense of their studies such as we get their books recorded in audio form as there are no books available of braille in the market. Also we provide computer training.
Health
We have daily yoga and football cricket sports training two days a week. Proper nutritious diet for students according to age group, also provides regular checkups.
Braille training
We provide 6 months braille training. They get ability to read and write in braille opens the door to literacy, intellectual freedom, equal opportunity, and personal security.
Home Science
To visually impaired we taught various things here such as Kneading dough cleaning and cutting Vegetables, basic cooking such as rice and dal, and cooking on an electricity Or gas stove.
Livelihood Training
We conduct these programs for creating employment opportunities among the disable person these program focus on making students self-reliant and financially independent.
Sports
For differently abled we have started to teach students games like cricket, chess, memory games, Running Tug-of-war, Soccer and
jumping. Our students are trained under professional coaches
Computer Training
Computer Training for the visually impaired is the greatest form of empowerment which opens up the world to them .It involves training on Computer Basics, MS office applications, Internet using the JAWS & NVDA screen reading software which are talking software that aid the visually impaired to “hear”everything that a sighted person would “read”.
Music Training
‘Mai Bal Bhavan’ has an orchestra.We have music class for student on every Saturday
and Sunday. This training help those students who want to make their career in music.
